RI REC has the goal of advancing EHR adoption and meaningful use throughout the state.
As one of our REC services to the provider community, we have developed a marketplace of pre-qualified EHR software vendors, technical service consultants, and HISPs. The Vendor Marketplace is a structured way for our members to assess their vendor options, make cost and functionality comparisons, and simplify the decision-making process. The goal is to ease the selection process for providers through a marketplace that:
- Standardizes products and services
- Promotes transparency in pricing and interface development
- Saves time
- Minimizes disruptions to a practice
RI REC provides our members with services that help with adopting and implementing an EHR and using it to achieve meaningful use. We facilitate the selection of EHR software and technical services.
Participants in our marketplace have direct exposure to a motivated group of potential clients with specific, identified needs surrounding EHR adoption and use. Our marketplace vendors:
- Align with a trusted, well-networked organization
- Obtain RI REC pre-qualified status
- Gain face time with qualified leads
- Increase their market awareness in Rhode Island
RI REC welcomes applications from HISPs for Direct Messaging services, and from EHR Software Vendors and Technical Service Consultants that provide one or more of the following services:

- Quality improvement and measures services
