Health IT Expo in Warwick Wed Nov 17

Thank you RIQI staff and anyone else that helped organize the Expo. The staff, vendors, and participants all appeared to have an enjoyable/productive evening.
I did not personally speak to the vendors after the event, but I was informed that they were very pleased with the success. To me, that says it right there. Why would a vendor be pleased? It could be because they participated and get personal gratification out of being part of the process. That may be the case, but I suspect that companies selling a product/service gauge success more on how many potential sales they had. Since the vendors/consultant companies went through a rigorous selection process, I trust that they offer quality products/services. The goal was to stimulate physicians in R.I. to implement EMR's and get to MU. It appears that the IT Expo did just that.
Looking forward to Expo II.
