Stimulus Money for EHR Users

If I already have and use an Electronic Health Record, would I be eligible for stimulus funds? And if so, would I get less money than someone who adopts now?

If you have an EHR already then you are ahead of the game. If you are using it to a level that will meet the "meaningful use" requirements, you will be able to get full funding under the stimulus package.
Meaningful use is outlined by CMS at this site: http://www.cms.hhs.gov/apps/media/press/factsheet.asp?Counter=3564&intNumPerPage=10&checkDate=&checkKey=&srchType=1&numDays=3500&srchOpt=0&srchData=&keywordType=All&chkNewsType=6&intPage=&showAll=&pYear=&year=&desc=&cboOrder=date
There is a substantial amount of information available on this DocEHRtalk.org site if you wander through some of the other sections of the site.
