The Health IT Certification (HITC) Program is designed to help RI healthcare professionals gain the necessary skills to support HIT growth in their healthcare setting and to enhance efforts in RI to implement EHRs and HIT.
This Health IT training opportunity is valued at up to $14,000 for completion of the full program (Tiers 1 to 3) and enables providers, their staff, and other members of the RI healthcare community to gain competency in one of the single largest areas of technical growth in the healthcare industry in decades.
Students who successfully complete the HITC Program's Tier 3 (Advanced HIT Skills) receive the nationally recognized CPEHR (Certified Professional in EHRs) certification.
